Plastic Surgery Options for Dads
Some Nice Plastic Surgery Options for Dad to Look and Feel Better on Father’s Day!
Father’s Day is a good time for dad to do something nice for himself. Long work hours, the passage of time, sun exposure, and just natural aging cause changes in our faces and bodies. When we look older or different than we feel, there are some nice options for improvement. Some of these options require little to no down time and provide for a refreshed and more rested look.
Many men do cosmetic procedures. In 2011, over 800,000 men had cosmetic surgery or treatments. This represents about 10% of all patients. Many patients do procedures to look better, while others feel that these treatments give them better prospects at work or to delay retirement and look younger.
The most common procedure to soften facial frown lines and wrinkles around the eyes is Botox treatment. With a few injections, forehead lines, frown lines, and crow’s feel lines can be softened and guys feel they look and feel younger. Facial fillers, such as Restylane and Juvederm, can also be used to fill in facial wrinkles, lines and hollow areas. This give the face a more youthful and fuller look. These non-surgical treatments are the most common cosmetic procedures that men do to look better.
The most common body procedure that men select is liposuction. Reducing fat in the stomach area, love handles, and low back are very popular areas. Guys can lose a few inches and look better and more athletic with some liposuction and sculpting in these problem areas. Also quite popular is cosmetic eyelid surgery. This procedure reduces excess skin of the eyelids and makes the eyes look more rested and youthful. Bags under the eyes are also reduced which gives further improvement.
Other commonly requested procedures, in the order of popularity, include nasal reshaping (rhinoplasty), male breast reduction (gynecomastia repair), and ear reshaping or pinning (otoplasty). These procedures allow the creating of a pleasing contour to the physique or face with attractive and natural results.
We do wish you a Happy Father’s Day, and hope you take some time to enjoy your family and friends. Please take good care of yourself, and if we may enhance your life quality a bit with some cosmetic rejuvenation, please feel free to give us a call!
Best wishes,
